Bio: I started writing my first novel at the age of 12 (which is still tucked away in a briefcase in my office). Despite a successful short story publication with Cricket Magazine in 2007, I treated my writing addiction as a hobby until a drop in the economy left me with an abundance of free time to focus on making it my career. I live in the magnificent Pacific Northwest tending to my awesome husband, two sweet horses, three manipulative cats, and a crazy dog. I’m a wine and tea fanatic who loves sitting on the ocean in my kayak surrounded by open water or hanging from a rope in a cave, embraced by darkness and the sound of dripping water. I also enjoy horseback riding, archery, PC gaming, dancing, good anime, etc. I study Japanese and practice Iaido because I believe we should never stop learning. Above all, I love to write. I am a fantasy and science fiction author represented by the fabulous Emily Keyes of Fuse Literary. Recent publications include The Girl and the Clockwork Cat, a fast paced YA steampunk adventure that takes place in the streets of a re-envisioned 19th century London, published September 2nd, 2014 by Entangled Publishing, and two shorts, In Silence Waiting and Making Monsters. Upcoming releases include my adventure into self-publishing with a fantasy series and the next book in the Clockwork Cat series along with a few more shorter works.
